Wide arch bodykit for FD-2

KC Racing currently working with one of the Japanese bodykit factory to produce/design a new bodykit for the new Honda Civic Type-R FD-2.

Please see the photos for reference.

The bodykit is designed to meet the Super2000 race specification.

The kit is currently in the finalize stage. It should become available in the coming weeks.
The kit will also be suitable for road use FD-2.

The kit is suitable for wheel fittment from 17inch to 19inchs with maximum wideth of 9inch wheels.

KC Racing x Power Station UK Part 4

We have the power figures from our DynoPack to compare the data between the Motec ECU with the Spoon Racing ECU.

The graph shown two groups of power run from one of our Group-N FD2 running a Spoon ECU and another using Motec ECU.

The lines with a lower power output of 227.5hp are from the Spoon ECU while the lines with the higher output of 233.9 are produced from the Motec ECU.
The Vtec actuation point has been put forward by 300rpm for better power balance.

Project S15 - Part 4

The parts from HKS for our Project S15 finally arrived.

Parts in the list from HKS are:
HKS 2.2L Block engine enlargment kit,
HKS Turbo kit,
HKS 264Deg In/Ex Cam Shafts,
HKS Piston, Pistion Ring and Con Rod kit,
HKS Valve Spring Sets,
HKS F-Con V-Pro ECU and harness,
HKS 2mm Headgasket,
HKS Super Power Flow Air In-take kit,
HKS Ex Cam pulley,
HKS Crackshaft,
HKS EVC with Easy writer kit,

It should take approx 1-2weeks to complete the engine.

Project S15 - Part 3

The S15 finally returned from the body shop with total colour change from Blue to Black.

It is now ready to get start and busy with the number of parts to be fit back on.

Project Impreza 9 STI - Part 1

A new project has just began at our ZIC branch for the Left hand drive Subaru Impreza 9 STI, the car is aim for a power output of 550hp, using many quality parts.
A hugh Garrett Turbo to be install.

The last but not least the third member from PowerStation is their very own test driver.

Expert in many techical terms, detail feeback to the mechanics, speed up car tunning process and provides many helpful advice to all of us at KC.

KC Racing x Power Station UK Part 2

The second person from PowerStation is a suspension specialist - Curtis Woodman, he came to help KC to understand more about the suspension settings, how we can improve the already amazing FD2 race car on track, many advice were given from him.

Making changes with the suspension settings after each testing sections to fine tune the best setting for the track.

Our FD-2 race car now drives like a dream.

KC Racing x Power Station UK Part 1

KC Racing have team up with one of the leading Japanese Car Tuner PowerStation from UK to perpare our Honda FD-2 race car for this years races in the coming months.

Company Director Rich Benton came over to install and set up probaby the worlds first Motec ECU tuned FD2 using Drive by Wire, the car produces out standing results on our DynoPack, producing 230hp with standand engine.

We are very happy with the results.

Honda FD2 preparation stage for 2008 group N race - Part 3

The race version of the Honda Civic Type-R has finally completed the body strenghting work, roll cage fitted, next stage is the for Motec ECU setting and fine tuning the K20A engine.
